What’s new with the next 2017 Corvette? In the Corvette lineup, there will be a new variant named 2017 Corvette Grand Sport. This all-new motorsport was introduced at the Geneva motor show last March. The new Grand Sport presents special features like Z07 package, Grand Sport distinctive wheel design, larger rear fenders and aero elements that are track-focused. The new Grand Sport basically wears the exterior of the Corvette Stingray; a Heritage package is available to let the owners to customize their new Grand Sport.

A quick look at the exterior will instantly make you realize that this Corvette is a high-end supercar. At front, its low and wide fascia has a long horizontal grille and an air vent on the hood. Bi-Xenon HID headlights and “V” signature make this car more unique design.
On the side, the body contour gives an unmistakable message of a sport car; gills behind the front fenders, low body, sloping roof and also a spoiler that can be viewed from the side. On the rear, we’ll see another V signature, while on the center there are four exhaust tips. The previous model year Corvette has already very athletic and stylish, but it’s not impossible if the new 2017 Corvette will be more aggressive and more stunning.

2017 Chevrolet Corvette Specs
Chevrolet Corvette has several trims with different powertrain. The Corvette Stingray and the Grand Sport come with a 6.2L LT1 V8 engine that will unleash 460 hp and 465 pounds feet torque. Acceleration to reach 60 mph needs 3.7 seconds.
The Corvette Z06 is a true race car with its supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8. This engine delivers 650 hp and 650 pounds feet torque. All Corvette has RWD system and a seven-speed manual, while an 8-speed automatic with paddle shift is available.
2017 Chevrolet Corvette Release Date and Price
The Corvette will be available as a coupe and convertible. The U.S. release date of the Grand Sport is this summer and in Europe, this fall. Other Corvette trims release date is not known. The Grand Sport is tagged with $56,395. The Stingray is estimated to have this price tag too. The most expensive will be the Z06 which will cost about $80,000.
